The National Think-Tank Projects
In order for the Noble President to realize her desire to improve the lot of indigent widows in Nigeria. She initiated the Think Tank Project in 2018, immediately after assuming office as the National President of the Ladies of St. Mulumba (LSM), Nigeria. The Think Tank committee was set up with the aim of identifying the very needy widows in society and putting roofs over their heads, notwithstanding their religious inclination. In particular, it sets out to build and equip houses for indigent widows in all the Metropolitan Councils in Nigeria through freewill donations by its members.

The guiding principle of the project is Proverbs 19:17 “He who gives to the poor, lends to the Lord, and He will reward him for what he has done”. This selfless body targets building at least one widow in all states of Nigeria within four years through an unbiased selection mode. It is a form of evangelism designed to prove that the Order of The Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria is not a secret cult, but an order that helps the needy without discrimination.

With a focused and benevolent Chairman of the National Think Committee, Lady Rose Colette Ewurum and Metropolitan Presidents and various Metropolitan Think-Tank Chairmen who have been working assiduously to realize the objective of the committee, 10fully furnished houses have so far been successfully completed and commissioned across Nigeria. While the other Metros are at different stages of completion
With the Committee’s motto Giving is saving, LSM has attempted to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden despite the limitations occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic and the current restiveness in the country.
