Information we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry category, subject and message.

Membership interest form: your full name, phone number, email address, residential address, town, state, parish, preferred contact method and the date you gave consent. The National Secretariat may add a Metropolitan Council assignment, status updates and internal notes while reviewing your application.

The website does not ask visitors to create accounts and does not collect payment details.

Why we collect it

We use contact information only to respond to your enquiry, and membership information only to review your interest in membership and connect you with the appropriate Metropolitan Council. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who can access it

Submissions are not public. Only National Secretariat administrators who have been approved for the relevant responsibility can view them: contact messages are limited to contact administrators and membership applications to membership administrators, together with the Super Administrators. When an application is referred to a Metropolitan Council, the Secretariat shares the relevant details manually with that Council.

How it is protected

Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored in a secured database with access rules enforced on the server. Administrator accounts are created only by invitation, require strong passwords and two-step verification, and important administrative actions are recorded in an activity log.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are permanently deleted 30 days after the Secretariat marks them as attended to; administrators may delete them sooner. Membership applications are kept as part of the Secretariat's membership records until they are no longer needed for that purpose or you ask us to remove them.

Photographs

Photographs from LSM activities are published on this website to record the work of the organisation. If you would like a photograph of yourself reviewed or removed, please contact us.

Your information and how to contact us

To ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, contact the National Secretariat at editorial@lsmnigeria.org or +234 806 270 6372, 14A Enweonwu Street, Onitsha, Anambra State.
